Sarmistha from Styleovercoffee was sweet enough to comment on one of my posts, and from there I discovered her blog and Instagram.

Needless to say, Sarmistha’s my kinda woman, blending pattern or print with a certain style sensibility. Take this image, for example: yellow and pink being one of my favourite colour combinations (the other is pink and orange). I also love the way she’s chosen a bright blue tarp as her background, which makes for an atmospheric image! Clearly not only a talented lady but a resourceful one too: I ❤

Sarmistha says:
“I chose an all-yellow outfit because I wanted to bring my sunny side up. Lately my blogging life is getting all topsy turvy and nothing is going according to the plans. The prime reason is the weather and the place I am living in currently. Weather wise it’s the worst time of the year in here with either too much of rain or extreme humidity spoiling all our plans. Secondly, Guwahati is not one of the safest places in India to roam around in secluded locations doing blog photo-shoots. When we head to a crowded place people simply can’t stop staring and passing lewd remarks. So you see, an yellow outfit was a much-needed mood-lifter! 🙂

As I mentioned in my last post, I am mixing and matching existing pieces of my wardrobe instead of going shopping every month. My neck piece is actually a floral head band and the vest is something that I haven’t worn in any of my look posts before. Rest of the pieces are all a repeat with a new way of styling. I would like to believe that I have a pretty good wardrobe by now, (since am blogging for more than 3 years now)  although I would absolutely love to add more stuff to it. Who wouldn’t, eh?
